Thai GP – A Strong Debut Under The Thai Sun

The 2025 Moto3 season opener in Thailand (Buriram) marked the Grand Prix debut for Denssi-sponsored BOÉ Motorsports riders Cormac Buchanan (New Zealand) and Ruché Moodley (South Africa). The rookie duo handled their first race weekend with poise, quickly getting to grips with the Moto3 machine in practice. Both riders showed steady improvement through the sessions despite the sweltering Thai heat. Qualifying saw them start mid-pack among a highly competitive field, setting the stage for an eventful race day.

On race day, the Denssi BOÉ bikes shone in the tropical sun as Buchanan and Moodley lined up eager to score their first world championship points. Moodley got a fantastic start and impressively battled his way up to 11th place at the finish, earning valuable points in his very first Grand Prix. He kept a cool head despite “a super tough race in really hot conditions,” focusing on gaining experience in the fierce Moto3.

Buchanan also broke into the points, coming home in 15th place after a measured ride. He managed his race well, staying out of trouble and picking up a championship point in his debut – a significant achievement for the Kiwi teenager.

Both Denssi BOÉ riders finishing in the points on debut was a major highlight. Moodley in particular showed maturity by keeping calm and learning each lap, as he noted in a post-race quote about gaining as much experience as possible. Their double-points finish underscored the team’s excellent start and hinted at the potential these young talents have.

The Denssi brand enjoyed an ideal debut as well – its logo and colors were prominently on display as the BOÉ bikes diced through the field. An upbeat Moodley thanked the team and noted how proud he was to have given Denssi a strong finish in return for their support. This positive start highlighted how well the Denssi-BOÉ partnership is working, with the brand already associated with resilience and success from day one.
